Lily Grace Revealed

We’ve been looking forward to this day for so long – the day we are officially cleared to post pictures and video of Lily Grace Young on the blog! There is a mandatory 15-day waiting period after court before the adoption paperwork is deemed completely final, and that period ended yesterday. Lily Grace is now living with us at the apartment, and we are finally a family.

We are scheduled to be here in Karaganda for another week while her passport is being processed, then we spend a week in Almaty, processing the paperwork required to leave the country. We fly home on Thanksgiving Day, a Thanksgiving like no other!

Thanks to all of you for your prayers, your notes, your love and support – we are overwhelmed and grateful to have such wonderful family and friends.

Oh my goodness - how very precious! I absolutely loved her mimicking you and smacking in front of the mirror. She already knows how very much she is loved and cherished! It was so very fun to see her point to the baby on the front of the book - WOW - you have a genius on your hands!!! It was also so wonderful to witness a bath and her first hair shampooing. I feel so blessed to get in on such important adventures in my grand baby's life. I can't express my gratitude for your taking the time to share these precious moments.

Love you dearly,

Mom

Love the videos! You can tell that Lily Grace has a lot of personality and is easily entertained. She is just a doll. It has to be tough to stop yourself from kissing those pudgy little cheeks 24/7. What a Thanksgiving this one's going to be coming home with your sweet baby girl.

She is beautiful! Congratulations. We will be literally two ships passing in the night. We leave Nashville for Semey on Thanksgiving day, we are just praying our process goes as smoothly as yours.
Congratulations again!

What a sweet, sweet baby girl you have on your hands and what a little heartbreaker she's going to be when she's older! :o) I know you're enjoying so much this bonding time with her before you head for home, but it will be so nice to be able to chat with both of you once you're home and hear the beautiful Miss Lily Grace happily babbling in the background!! Take care and may these final days in Kaz be memorable and blessed!
