This morning, we learned from our coordinator that our court date has been set, and - it's tomorrow! Wednesday late morning our time, late Tuesday night back home.
We have each written our court speeches - both are a few minutes long allowing for translation - and are told that the entire proceeding should last about 30 minutes.
If all goes well, and we are certainly hoping and expecting that it will, Lily Grace will become legally ours! The 15-day waiting period, paperwork, etc. follows, and we'll cover more of that in our next post, which we'll send tomorrow night. Bottom line is our planned return around Thanksgiving Day appears to be on track.
We appreciate your prayers and support throughout this process, and particularly at this important milestone.

We are all so excited for you both. In our production meeting, we of course, envisioned Tonya's "speech" presentation. Will there be charts. Bwhhahahahha!
You're going to do great and we love you both.
Lee & Stephanie...and the monkeys at Locomotion.
WOO HOO!!! The time we have all been awaiting has arrived! I am still very hopeful that they will just let you go and scoop your sweet baby up and bring her back to your apartment.
Awaiting the next GOOD NEWS!
Love you,
Mom
What great news! I know you both are so excited and nervous but it will all be over soon. What a journey this has been for the three of you. I was so happy to read you visited Lily Grace's home village; it IS an important part of the puzzle and she will appreciate seeing those pictures one day. I pray God's calming touch will be upon you both as you make your cases before the judge. Remember He is in the midst of all of this :) Good to know, right? SJ
